A Smart e-School Framework

Internet and new computer technology impact educational institutions directly in many of their essential and yet diverse operations. However, there seems to be no holistic solution in the educational community to help keep up with the challenge. We present an integrated approach for building a smart e-school system that involves people, degree programs, building/facilities, and administrative and management infrastructure. We cover some of the recent advances in our application modules: a teaching system that adapts students’ learning style, tools to handle multimedia lesson notetaking, smart course scheduling systems for curriculum staffing and resource planning, and smart classroom and intelligent building sysstem to provide a comfortable and safe learning environment.
